MISSION STATEMENT

We, the members of Smith Mills Church, come together as followers of Jesus Christ to share in the worship of God and to make his will dominant in the lives of people, individually and collectively, especially as that Will is set forth in the life, teachings, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

POLITY OF OUR CHURCH

This church acknowledges Jesus Christ as it's head, and finds in the Holy Scriptures, interpreted by the Divine Spirit through reason, faith and conscience, it's guidance in matters of faith and discipline.

The Goverment of this church is vested in it's members. We accept the obligations of mutual council, comity an co-operation involved in the free fellowship of the United Church of Christ and pledge ourselves to share it's common aims and goals.

MEMBERSHIP

Membership is open to all persons who accept the obligations of the Covenant. Speak to the pastor or a deacon to learn how you may become a part of this exciting church family.
